How Ayurveda Treats Kidney Patients?

Kidneys are the two bean-shaped organs present in the body. Kidneys are the filters of the body that filter waste products and excess fluids from the blood. Then, the kidney sends the blood back to the heart to for further procedures. The kidneys also perform other functions of the body that are very important for the body. Other crucial functions of the body include the balancing of fluids in the blood, filtering waste products from the food. The kidney also creates a hormone that helps in the production of red blood cells. If the kidney is not able to perform any function that they usually do, that means your kidney is suffering from any disease.

If the patient is suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure then he is at a higher risk of having any kind of kidney disease. If kidney disease is left untreated then it may result in kidney failure. Treatment of kidney failure in allopathy includes kidney transplant or dialysis. Both treatments are very risky, time-consuming and expensive as well.

In the starting stages of kidney disease or kidney failure, there are no signs and symptoms present inside the body. Some of the common symptoms of the kidney disease area as follow:

•    Laziness
•    Weakness in the body
•    Problem in breathing
•    Edema
•    Anemia
•    Loss of appetite
•    Fatigue
•    Heart-related problems
•    High blood potassium
•    Rising urea levels in the blood (uremia)

Kidney disease is mostly caused by other chronic problems that harm the human body. If both kidneys of the patient are injured or damaged then the only option left for survival is kidney transplant.

Types of kidney failure treatment

In allopathy, there is no permanent treatment for kidney failure. If you want a proper treatment for your kidney disease then you should opt for the kidney treatment in Ayurveda. The Ayurvedic treatment uses natural herbs that are very effective in the treatment of kidney disease. Many people opt for allopathic treatment for curing kidney disease without knowing the complications and risks involved in allopathic treatment. Allopathic treatment involves dialysis and kidney transplant for the last stage of kidney failure. If the patient is at the starting stage of kidney disease, then doctors advices a heavy dosage of allopathic medicines that may harm other parts of the body. Dialysis and kidney transplant is not the only option available for kidney failure because dialysis is not the permanent solution for kidney failure. Dialysis is the process that performs all the functions of the kidney but outside the body but with the help of machines. These machines perform some functions of the kidney for a temporary basis. The average life expectancy of the rate of people living on dialysis is 4-5 years. There are only a few cases that live 10-15 years on dialysis.

Another treatment is kidney transplant, in this treatment kidney is changed from a donor’s kidney. The donor has to donate his/her kidney with full consent, if not then it is a criminal offense. In allopathy, doctors perform this surgery if dialysis is also not working for the survival of the patient. There are some complications like the patient’s body rejects to accept the donor's kidney. Vomiting, weakness, sudden changes in weight are the most common complications of kidney transplant. If the patient’s body rejects the donor’s kidney that may result in the death of the patient. The success rate of this treatment is very low.
